Introduction
The measles is an uncommon illness in Australia as the majority of Australian’s are vaccinated against this disease as an infant. However, it does still occur and thus will be the focus of this webquest. By the end of this task, you should be able to state what the measles are and suggest ways in which health and wellbeing can be supported in the classroom.

Task
In groups of two you will research the measles. Ensure that you take turns at using the computer and taking notes within your groups. You will be given a set of questions to answer within your group and then you will be required to create a presentation (power-point, poster, etc.) to share with your peers.
Process
You should be able to answer the following questions by the end of the task:
- What is the measles?
- What causes the measles?
- How do you know if you have the measles?
- What should you do if you have the measles?
- Do you come to school if you have the measles?
- How can we prevent the measles?
- Include any other interesting information you find about the measles.
