Image result for photos of martin luther king jrWelcome to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Webquest!  Throughout this quest you will learn about the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  

Dr.  Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American Baptist minister, activist, humanitarian, and leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement.  

He was married to Coretta Scott King and had four children Martin Luther King, III, Dexter Scott King, Yolanda King, and Bernice King.

Tragically, Dr. King was assasinated on April 4th, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Task

Directions:  This webquest requires you to research information regarding the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  You will be given a list of questions based on the accomplishments as well as the struggles of his lifetime to fight for equality for all mankind.  

You are required to work with your research partner and answer all questions in complete sentences.  Do not write the questions.  You and your partner must turn in a separate answer sheet.  Your teacher will give you a grade prior to exiting the computer lab.  When you are done raise your hand.  Do not get out of your seat.  Your answer sheet will be your exit ticket.

Step 1:  Use your own notebook paper and write the following heading on your paper on the uppper left hand corner of your paper

Step 2:  You and your research partner must decide who will operate the desktop computer and who will bring their chair to the computer lab.
