How This Will Work:
1) Your teacher will split the entire class up into even groups.
2) On your desk, you will see some printed animal cutouts with clues written underneath them that your teacher has provided for you. Each person in your group will be assigned three of these animals to investigate. >> Teachers << : follow the link to access the marine life Dr. Fischer needs help researching: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DodIq6diTncx77m-oLBuLPGR7jAa6a9LExfAZ4o3V_4/edit?usp=sharing
3) At the front of the class, your teacher has provided you with the "map" below showing the five different zones within the ocean. The deeper you go down, the darker the world is. As you can imagine, some of these creatures need some pretty strange features to be able to live in the deepest and darkest levesl of the ocean.
4) Use the clues written underneath your animal cutouts to determine which level of the ocean you believe your animals more than likely live. Keep in mind the need for some animals to breathe air, see where they are going, or have plenty of room for their large bodies to swim.
