Introduction
This web quest will help you find out more about the human body.
There are many muscles, bones, and organs that make up the human body. Muscles work in pairs or groups to keep you moving.There are 206 bones that make up your entire body and they are there to protect your organs. Organs are what are underneath your muscles and skeleton. There are 22 organs in the body that include the heart and liver.

Task
I want you to pick 2 or 3 bones, and muscles from the body. Where is this body part located? What does it look like? What is its function?
After you do your research, you are going to create a presentation to share with the class. You can either make a powerpoint, a video, or a poster.

Process
STEP 1: Choose 2 or 3 body parts from the 2 categories we learned about: muscles, bones.
STEP 2: Research the body part you chose and answer the following questions:
1) Where is it located in the body?
2) What does it do for the body?
3) What does it look like (color, shape, size)?
4) How does it move, work, or grow?
5) Why is important to science?
STEP 3: Create a presntation of the body part you researched using the materials provided
STEP 4: Prepare for your presentation by jotting down notes or important information about your body part
STEP 5: Take note on your peers presntation, becuase we will be having a quiz after and you can use the note you took.
Evaluation
You will be scored on the following 3 categories for your final grade:
Research (30 pts.)- Use at least 2 websites or books to answer the research questions.
Poster/powerpoint/video (30 pts.)- Use provided materials to create a prensetation of your body part.
Presentation (40 pts.)- Using your research and poster or model you will stand in front of the class to present what you learned.
Also you will have a quiz after this, and it will be graded as a normal quiz.
Conclusion
Once all the presentations are completed, you are going to score your classmates using a peer scoring sheet and write 1 or 2 sentences about what you liked/didn't like about this web quest.
Then you will take the quiz.
