We can count by ones,
and we can count real high,
but imagine how far you can go,
if you can skip a few along the way!
Counting By 5's
Task
Soon you'll be able to perform a count infront of me and play a game with your counting classmates! You will be creating a number line and colorcode the numbers we are using to count by 5's! Then we will be able to recite the numbers, and play a game using them!
Process
1.) Go to the start menu on your computer
2.) Open Paint
3.) Insert a straight line and above it a text box
4.) Evenly space the numbers 1 to 100 above this line
5.) Count and highlight every 5th number
6.) Make them bold by clicking the big B at the top
7.) No use the paint brush tool you find at the top of the tool box and color each number that is bold a differnet color
8.) Print off your number line
9.) Learn every 5th number
10.) When ready come to the teachers desk and recite them for her
11.) Everyone gete in a circle once done
12.) Start the ball with one person who will say 5
13.) That child will throw it to someone across from him and they will say the next number, so on until 100.
Evaluation
I know you can count high and loud so when you come do it for me I'll grade on how many numbers you get correct! You can get all of them, don't worry!
