Introduction
An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
This law is often called
"the law of inertia".
Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass. The greater the mass (of the object being accelerated) the greater the amount of force needed (to accelerate the object).
Newtons third law:
For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action
Task
Group one
Answer every question below here: note (for every 2 questions there is a website under it.
- Who created the three laws of motion?
- What does the first law states?

- What does the first law mean?
- In the picture what happened to the skater in the website?

- What year was Sir Isaac Newton born? And where?

experiment on each law of motion and then answer the questions below for each group
Group two
Answer every question below here: note (for every 2 questions there is a website under it.
What does the second law mean?
What is the mathematical equation of the second law of force?

In the second law the force is required to?
It takes more force to……

Process
what the students are going to do is, in each group they will conduct and experiment on the laws of motion on their own also each group will answer their own question (look in process tab)
group one will conduct an experiment on newtons first law so they have to make an experiment on how newtons firat law works. for example they will have to demenstrate on how the law of inertia is.
group two will make an experiment on newtons second law which is about acceleration. "the more force the more acceleration" which is the second law.
group three will make an experiment on newtons third law which stats that for every action (force) there is an equal and opposite reaction (force).
