Laws of motion

Introduction

An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

This law is often called
"the law of inertia".

Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass. The greater the mass (of the object being accelerated) the greater the amount of force needed (to accelerate the object).

Newtons third law:

For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action

Process

what the students are going to do is, in each group they will conduct and experiment on the laws of motion on their own also each group will answer their own question (look in process tab)

group one will conduct an experiment on newtons first law so they have to make an experiment on how newtons firat law works. for example they will have to demenstrate on how the law of inertia is.

group two will make an experiment on newtons second law which is about  acceleration. "the more force the more acceleration" which is the second law.

group three will make an experiment on newtons third law which stats that for every action (force) there is an equal and opposite reaction (force).

Evaluation

Evaluation Rubric

  20 pts. 15 pts. 10 pts. 5 pts. Score

answer all questions you answerd all questions very good. you answerd your questions with detail and the information you found was all correct. you answerd all the questions but one of them were incorrect. you answerd your question with some detail. you answerd 2 of the questions wrong and had no or little detail on the assignment. you have little understanding of the assingment. all of your answers are wrong but one.

experiment you took the experiment very seriously and reached your goal. you did a great job but there was a little problum in your experiment there were few problums in your experiment but you still tryed you didnt even try but sowed that you got some of the experiment done

present you presented well and under stood what you are presenting you presented good but there were a few mistakes i had to correct you you tryed to know what you are saying but a lot of it was a bit wrong you barley knew what you are presenting and had no understanding of this project

creativity you have explaiend your work with very good creativity you showed your work with some creativity you shoed your work with a little creativit but it still was alright you showed no creativity but demonstrated your abilities
