La Francophonie

Introduction

France is known as the mother country for speaking French. However, there are many Francophone countries in the world. We even have some of our own in the Carribbean such as Martinique and Guadelope.

Task

Hello students. In this course your first assignment will be to do a research about a French speaking country. You must talk about the country's history, things that are important to the country (i. e. national anthem, flag, government, currency, traditional wear), important people (singers, playwright, authors, musicians). 

Please note: This is a written and presentation based task.

Process

You are recommended to take a period of two weeks to do a thorough research of the Francophone country of your choice.

You are going to:

  1.  Choose the French speaking country that you wish to present on.
  2. Reasearch all the important points mentioned in the task.
  3. Get pictures and work pieces to display.
  4. Prepare a presentation no shorter than 10 mins. and no longer than 20 mins.

Note: You must wear the traditional wear of the country you are presenting.
