Introduction


Students,

Our government has three branches of government.  In this lesson you will identify the three branches of government and the duties of each.

These branches of govenment have what we call a checks and balance system so that no one branch can hold the most power.  

 


Task

Here is your task.

You will create a presentation in Book Creator for the three branches of government explaining what the three branches are, who works in the branch, and what does each branch do.

  • You will collect information about the Three Branches of government by clicking through the websites I have provided for you and take notes on the information/facts about each branch.
  • You can also collect information from books.
  • Fill out the Note-Taking Sheet with the information needed.
  • Then you will create an iBook with your information.
  • Your iBook will need to be 5 pages

  1. title page

  3. conclusion page
  • Each page needs text to explain each branch and must include a picture
  • check your grammar and spelling
