Teacher Page
The following WebQuest was designed for my class to learn about the significance of the moon. The standards that were utilized for this site are as follows: 5-ESS-1-2 patterns of daily changes in length and direction of shadows, day, night, and seasonal appearance of some stars in the night sky. 5-ESS.B the orbit of the earth around the sun and of the moon around the earth, togeather with the rotation of earth abut an axis between its north and south poles, causes observable patterns. These include day, night, daily changes in the length and direction of shadows and different positions of the sun, moon, and stars at various times of the day, month, year. This site is intended to be used at home as an assignment. The hope is that children will utilize and see the advantage of technology inside and outside of the classroom while still learning.
