Japanese Feudal Empire

Introduction

The Japanese Feudal Empire was considered “The Age of the warrior”.

The ways of life were very different in the Warrior states period (1400-1600). In this society the military was in control and dictated who governed. Respect and honor drove the culture within the Japanese Fedual Empire and Japan stills continues to live by those morals.

The Bushi, or samurai warriors were considered middle class but had had much responsibility placed upon them and true Bushi were expected to give their lives without hesitation if commanded. Samurai warriors later became known as the “Way of the Warrior”
