Introduction: The topic is the civil war of America. in 1865. The war is coming soon to an end. All the ships are wooden and easy to destroy. But then the invention of Ironclads changed naval warfare. Imagine this, you are a historian trying to prove how Ironclads affected the civil war.

Conclusion
Conclusion: This heavily armored invention was used at the end of the Civil War. It help get passed many fleets of of wooden ship blockades. Ultimately the South had the upper hand until the north had discovered the great invention. In the end the Ironclads were used in many battles between the North and South, but was not enough for the South to win. At the end of the war the North was victorious in defeating the South. Although the Ironclads were the most modern at the time they were later improved into the Submarine.
