Task
You will be working in groups of two to research the various instruments of the band and orchestra. It is your job to become an expert on your instrument and to teach the class everything you learn. You will need to create a presentation, movie or other engaging method (Google Slides, iMovie, etc.) that fully teaches the class about your instrument. You will not need to create an assessment or Kahoot for this assignment. The class will be completing a test that, I create, when we are done with all the presentations. Be sure to prepare your classmates for that test!! Make sure to answer the following questions and cover the topic thoroughly.

Step 1- Choose an instrument to research.
Step 2- Using the links below answer the following questions. Be sure to take notes either in a Google Doc or on paper. If you create a Google Doc be sure to invite me to view it.
1. The first section of your research should focus on the history of your instrument. Try your best to find answers to all of these questions.
a. When was the earliest record of your instrument?
b. Did someone invent your instrument? If so, who invented your instrument?
c. Where did your instrument originate?
d. How is the original model of your instrument different than the ones we play today?
e. What are all of the parts of your instrument?
f. What is your instrument made of?
g. What was your instrument originally used for? (i.e. the French horn was used as a signal for hunters riding on horses!)
h. What family of instruments is your instrument a part of?
i. Are there any other insteresting facts you learned about your instrument?
Step 3: Research the following questions.

c. Where did you find the recording?
d. Did you like the recording? Why, or why not?
