Introduction
The majority of autistic children at our school are great at mathematics but there are a minority of the group who are bad at mathematics. I am going to talk about inclusion for all autistic children and how best to approach teaching them mathematics. Children with Autism SPectrum Disorder (ASD) tend to be good at reciting and ordering numbers, they are good at rote learning, respond well to imitation techniques and repetition (Tucker, 2016). This mathematics learning does not allow for students to use mathematics or understand numbers in real life situations (Tucker, 2016). ASD learners tend to be visual learners which suggets that we need to be able to teach worded mathematics problems in visual ways (Tucker, 2016).

Task
OUr task will be to include all autisitc children in our mathematics teaching.
Evaluation
I would like as a staff team for you all to collect data on which stratergies worked best for your children and we will have a short period to report back in 3 weeks in our staff meeting. This information will help us continue to teach these individual students and give us an insight on the best way to teach future students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The best way to collect this data will be to conduct interviews and collect actual evidence of work improvements.
