Introduction
During diwali most of the homes are adorned with lamps. Members of the household make their homes even brighter not only by means of lamps and fireworks but also by sharing joy and laughter with family, relatives and neighbors whichh is an impotant thing in Divali. We humans have a tendency to get together during times of joy and sorrow. Diwali being a time of great joy we get together and burst crackers with everyone around us. One can very well see this type of get together in streets and apartments during diwali. Also we get to make new friends.
You are a member of the Hindu nation, part of the Divali tribe. Your tribe has to share the importance of Divali with your classmates by sharing joy and laughter on this special day. You and your clan must spread the word throughout the class. It is important that you work with other groups in order to maintain peace and help your group to be successful.
Task
As your tribe prepare the mission you must consider the following questions and complete the task:
1. How you should spread the importance of Divali. Eg.
2. What happens when you light deeyas eg it brings light over darkness
3. Whats happen when you pray to mother Lakshmi eg. we are filled with blessing.
4. Your tribe will write 5 sentences saying what are a few important things you see your parents do on Divali day and why?

You will separate into six Divali groups, creating the Six tribes:
In your group, you will discuss the question and write the sentences.
Evaluation
In your group, you will the picture: Each group will answer the following questions using what was taught today. Write your responses as though you are a member of the Hindu society:
1. Why you think Divali is important?
2. What happens during Divali?
Conclusion
As a member of the Divali tribe through this activity, you have learned much about what divali is and a few ideas on why it is important. Hopefully, through this lesson you have gained a greater understanding and appreciation for Divali.
