Introduction
You are a renowned surgeon from Johns Hopkins University Hospital and are following a new exploratory research project, which plans to follow and monitor different types of cells and their functions in different regions of the body. If successful, your results will be published on major e-book and journal articles.
Task
The e-book contains the results of the project, however, must be published, but is not yet complete in all its specific parts.
You'll have to, therefore, produce, via power point presentation or writing an article to be published, a document that complements the e-book in the missing parts (hereinafter clearly specified), and a concept map that summarizes the focal points of 'subject matter.
Finally you will be called to take the lessons to your interns apparatus, system or organ assigned to your research team according to your specific skills and in reference to the project in question.
Despite the complexity and the study of medicine, we will restrict our field of action to both the physiological and anatomical approaches.
On the following tabs you will find the detail of the work, needs to be addressed and the resources to use for each individual department called upon.
Process
According to the fields of interest of the project, summarized on the reference cloth (e-book), it was decided to summon the following departments:
pulmonology
Cardiac Surgery: divided into vascular surgery and cardiology
Orthopedics
Gastroenterology
Neurology
To see in detail your objectives and the organization of your work, click on one of the tabs at the top of the page, depending on which you have been assigned department.
Conclusion
Starting from the reading of e-book "A horse of a molecule of oxygen ... a journey through the human body" you have an idea of some processes, functions and structures of the body complex.
Now, though, you have to help give a more complete picture of our body, also helping your colleagues to understand some important aspects.
Each of you, then, has been assigned to a specific department (Pneumology, Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Neurology), and shall be called, together with their colleagues, to deepen a specific part of the human body, according to the guidelines (supplied to Processes section).
The result of your work will have to be a product on the basis of information to be provided to others, so that they can go into that you have developed, you will have to also expose and explain during a lecture.
Eventually everyone will be able to take a test of verification on various topics, integrating notions from you exhibited with those of the e-book
