Help Miss Harrison plan her trip!!!

Hello Year 8,

With me away - I need you to do an investigation for me..... I hope that you are prepared and ready for this.

I am planning on going back to England for Christmas to see my family and I am trying to work out which flight is best for me to catch! 

This is the information that I know:

My Dad can only pick me up from Manchester airport between 14:30 and 17:00 on Friday 23rd December (and I don't want to be sitting around the airport waiting for him for ages either!!). It is 50 minute drive from Manchester airport to my home in England.

I plan on driving from Arimidale to Brisbane (this drive takes approx 6 hrs) and then flying out of Brisbane airport. I would like to stop over anywhere in either Thailand, Malaysia or Dubai on my way home.

I am hoping that you can choose the most suitable flight, thinking about the timing of the flights (and also the cost), and let me know the itinery that you have planned for me including:

• Time I need to leave Armidale
• The flight number, company, and time I fly out of Brisbane (and how long the plane is)
• What country I am stopping in (and the time it will be there when I arrive)
• What time I will be flying out of that country, the flight number, the company and the length of the flight to Manchester airport.
• What time I will arrive in Manchester.
• What time I will get home to give my mum a hug!
