Teacher Page

The aim of this activity is to practise and review the letters of the alphabet, seen in the Didactic Unit "Hellow again". It pretends to place students back into the academic context after the summer holidays.

For me it is particulary interesting to introduce a WebQuest in the Planning because of its multiple advantages. A WebQuest not only develops linguistic skills but also digital and learning to learn key competences. The task is expected to create interest and curiosity for the contents, capacity to overcome difficulties and practice of cooperative work with the increasing appreciation of the English language as an instrument of communication.

Activities are presented structuraly and develop interactively in the form of grammar exercises and games.  They integrate several skills and degrees of difficulties..

In order to make the WebQuest as much friendly as possible, I have designed it taking into accout the students' age and characteristics, avoiding unnecesary explanations, using simple vocabulary and expressions. Fisrtly, the students will be guided by the teacher until they can manage by themselves.

Although the WebQuest will be planned for one single session, it can also be done by parts through other sessions and/or a reinforcement, extensive and fast-finisher activity. For that, I will use the Computers room and the PC available in the class.
