Healthy Breakfast

Introduction

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Breakfast is what gives you the energy that you need in order to get through your day. Not only should you be eating breakfast, you should be eating a healthy one. During this Webquest you will learn what types of nutritional foods that you should be feeding your body. 



Task

Working with your group you will be able to recognize what healthy breakfast foods are. Also with the help of your group you will create an ideal breakfast plan. You will use outside resources to help during your process of creating a plan. 

Process

Step 1. You and your partners will watch the videos below to refresh your memory on the food pyramid and why it is so important to be feeding our bodies healthy foods.

 Step 2.  Talking amongst your group, you will share what types of foods you eat in the morning. Explain if you feel that you eat more “junk” or you follow the food pyramid mostly.

 Step 3. Using your knowledge of the food pyramid, create a breakfast plan for your morning that touches all of the groups on the pyramid.
