Introduction
An alien spaceship from Planet Grammatica has landed at Edward John Eyre High School and dropped a team of crazy alien scientists onto the building to investigate the world of English grammar. You have been taken hostage by one of the crazy alien scientists! You have to use your mad-keen grammar skills to save your skin - teach the aliens how to speak and use correct grammar!
(The key idea is that grammar is important for communication of ideas, making your words logical and also enhanicng meaning).
The grammar aliens are waiting as you embark on a journey to the darkest realms of grammar, feared most by students... You will fill your brains with grammar understanding and grammar power by reading information, watching movies, listening to songs and taking online quizzes.
You will then create a PowerPoint Presentation discussing the most important aspects of your grammar learning to present to the aliens (minimum 3 slides long).
Task
1. Read through ALL the instructions - don't skip sections!
2. Visit all the sites listed and make sure you reead, watch, listen or complete ALL parts of it.
3. Take notes (in a word document - SAVE IT!!!) for important information snippets about imprtant ideas, that you can include on your PPT slide. This includes examples as well.
4. When you have finished the WebQuest, create your PPT. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR WORK IN MULTIPLE PLACES SO THAT YOU DO NOT LOSE ANYTHING.
