Introduction
A webquest is a learning tool, to build research abilities and let students figure out new information. This one is solely to teach you everything you need to know to answer the driving question: “How is the United States Constitution organized to balance the conflicting interests in a democracy?” This specific one will take you through important factors that built the US. By figuring out who John Locke is, all the way to discussing the Bill of Rights, you will soon start to relaize you will know more in yout gov and econ class than you ever have before!
Task
You will first fill out a table, that has different parts (terms, what I think I know, what I want to know, what I learned and then pictures that relate to the term). There will be further instructions on the actual document with the tables on them.
Process
Evaluation
After you fully understand all the definition words, you will write one letter using half the defintion words (11). To write this you will imagine you are a child in the 1700s, writing to a family member who doesn't live in the US. Make sure you tell your family what has been going on in the US so they understand how things are changing. Also, give a lot of detail and explain the words you defined correctly.
Conclusion
Now that you have defined and understand your words, and written your letter, you will easily be able to anser our driving question: How is the United States Constitution organized to balance the conflicting interests in a democracy?
