-Has created thousands of jobs

-The company offers community support: donations, sponsorships, scholarships, etc.

-World’s most recognized logo…helps GA gain notoriety!

 

**History:

John “Doc” Pemberton- Pharmacist who created a headache remedy named “Coca-Cola” after its 2 main ingredients: coca plant and kola nut.

-Soon the remedy was combined with soda water to make a drink for all

 

 

Asa Candler (1887)- purchases Coca-Cola and begins to sell it to the public as a refreshing drink rather than a headache remedy

 

 

Ernest Woodruff (1919)- Purchases the drink for $25 million

Robert Woodruff-takes ownership and turns Coca-Cola into a worldwide phenomenon before WWII
