Introduction
Today we will be learning all about colors! We will learn what primary colors are, what secondary colors are, and how to mix them together to create new colors.
There are 3 primary colors: RED, BLUE and YELLOW. These are the main colors and are called primary because no other colors can be mixed together to create them.
However, these three colors can be mixed together to create 3 new colors that we call secondary colors. We will discover what these are during our activities.
All other colors can be made by mixing primary colors with secondary colors to create something called tertiary colors. We will not worry about these today and take a closer look at them next class.
Lets get started!
Task
Our task today is to learn what the secondary colors are and to and to be able to create them from our primary colors.

Colour with Leo - Choose a colour from the colour wheel and let Leo show you which colours are mixed to make it.
Evaluation
After playing with Leo and William you will be given this worksheet to complete. Color the matching circles and write down the new secondary colour that you have created. This is to be handed in at the end of class.

Conclusion
You have now learned what the secondary colours are and how to create them by mixing primary colours! Next class we will look at how to create all other colours using both primary and secondary colours.
