Conclusion
Impact of Franklin Roosevelt
This Web Quest has been designed to make you more aware of the impact a president can have on a nation. You will have a better understanding of the New Deal programs that Roosevelt created for a purpose of helping the country. After today, you should be able to answer the question, "How can we explain the life of Franklin Roosevelt and his contributions to the United States?".
Impact of the New Deal
The New Deal programs had a purpose of giving jobs to the American citizens. They brought a recovery program to the United States to recooperate after the Great Depression. These programs specifically gave jobs to help the community and improve our country. Some of these programs are still around to help our citizens have better opportunities and resources. Other programs are still not in use today and have been improved or changed for the betterment of society.
Impact of the World
World War II included the American citizens and soldiers fighting for our rights and freedoms. FDR had women fill in the roles of the men who were sent to war during this time. During this war, the Americans conserved goods for our troops to send food, ammunition, and medicine to the soldiers. This gave a sense of community for the Americans to fight together as a nation during this war to protect our rights and freedoms. We are still at war and will continue to fight wars in the future, so it is crucial to support our troops and unite as a nation in order to continue protecting America's rights and freedoms.
