Have you ever read a story about a monster?
You are about to embark on a journey that will take you back to
the past in Europe, in a lab….
You, along with about 4 others will take a journey back to the past. For this journey, you will need a name for your group and each person will have a specific job to do.
People will see your productions by the end of this frightening journey.

Task 1 : Before you read the book: Answer the questions below.
1. Who is Luigi Galvan? How are his discoveries relevant to the novel?
2. Who was Prometheus in Greek mythology?
3. What inspired the author to write Frankenstein?
4. When and where was Mary Shelley born?
5. Where did she grow up (if different than birth place)?
6. What was her personal life like? Husband? Friends? Kids? Etc.
7. What challenges did Shelley face in her life that might have influenced her writing.
8. What was unique about her life that might have influenced her work?
9. When was Frankenstein published?
