The Four Seasons

Introduction

Hi Kids!!!  I'm Yogi Bear!!!  And this week, we're going on an adventure!!!  Together, we are going to travel through the four seasons - spring, summer, fall, and winter. 

Plan to stay busy because there are lots of fun activities in store for us.  We have lots to learn!!!

Task

HERE WE GO!!!!

The first thing we are going to do is watch a video on the four seasons. Make sure you pay attention because the next step is to find partners and pick a season you want to learn more about.

After you find a friend and pick a season, you are going to do some research on that season. In the end, you and your partner are going to create a poster with information about that season - either spring, summer, fall, or winter.

The last thing we will do is share our posters with the class.

Process

This is the best adventure I've ever had!!!  Let's keep going kids!!!  There is a lot more to learn!!!

Here are the things we need to do:

1) Find a partner and together pick a season to learn more about (spring, summer, fall, or winter.)
2) Create a poster about your season. (1 poster per group)  Be sure to include the following information: the weather, types of activites you can do, and 1 reason why you like or don't like that season.
3) Share your posters with the class.

Evaluation

As our adventure is coming to an end, you must complete a poster with your partner that describes one season - either spring, summer, fall, or winter. 

This is the rubric you and your partner will be graded on.
