Five Regions of Georgia Virtual Field Trip

Introduction

What are the five regions of Georgia? We have learned that it is five special areas in Georgia. We will be learning about the habitat of each region. You will use this webquest page to take a virtual field trip to each region. As you travel to each region, you collect interesting facts (what kind of plants and animals live there). On this trip, you will learn new and interesting facts.

Task

As our class studies each region, you will visit this webquest page with a partner to take your virtual field trip. As you travel from region to region, you and your partner will be collecting interesting facts. At the end of our study, you and your partner will present your findings as a final pro to the class using one of these: poster, PowerPoint, iMovie, or Prezi.

Process

To accomplish the task, you will following the following steps:

  1. Get your partner assignment from the teacher.
  2. Get your Georgia Region Fact Sheets from the teacher.
  3. Click on the link of the region we are currently studying.
  4. Enjoy your virtual trip and remember to answer the questions in complete sentences.
  5. After completing all 5 Georgia Region Fact Sheets, you and your partner will present your findings to the class using one of these as your final project: poster, PowerPoint, iMovie, or Prezi.
