Have you thought of visiting Honduras, Russia, or Mexico? What about having Friends from there? What do they celebrate? Which festivals are important for them? What languages do university students from those countries learn?

Find out information about festivals in those countries!

In this language adventure, you are going to venture into those three countries, visit places and enjoy their important festivals!  Besides, you will be able to make Mexican, Russian and Honduran friends in this quest!!

Task

Objectives:

Content Objective: Ss will talk about what relevant festivals in their own and other countries are like.

Language Objective:  Participants will be able to use adjectives, the simple present, simple past, future, as well as the present perfect tenses to talk about relevant facts and information of festivals in their own and other countries.

  • The day of the presentation has come!  In your group, you will tell your partner what you know of that beautiful country you visited.

  • Writing is important!  with your spiderscribe.net information, in your group, write a composition of 100 words and continue working hard!  In class we will share it with the rest of the groups!

  • Get together again and practice reading aloud your information from the composition you wrote!  Then, record your voice using http://www.voki.com.

  • Once it is recorded, publish your audio productions in our Facebook group account.

Create a flashy, unique presentation about every country, using the information your international friends gave you!
