Task

Your task is to learn about the season of fall.

You will do this by playing a game of

"Musical Books"

So put your LISTENING EARS on and get ready!

Process

Here is how the game is played:

As a class you will read an informational book about the season of fall.

Pay close attention to the details.

When the book has been read, as a class you will sit (criss-cross-applesauce) in a circle facing outward. This means that your back is to the center of the circle.

Then music will begin and you will pass the book around clockwise (to your right), like hot potato.

When your teacher pauses the music, whoever is holding the book will be asked a question from your teacher's question jar. You will step outside of the circle to answer the question. Your teacher may have you write your answer on an index card, and/or have you say your answer while being video recorded or while your teacher takes a picture.

The game will continue until there is only one student left, or there are no more questions in your teacher's question jar about this book.

At this point if you have any questions STOP, RAISE YOUR HAND, and ASK YOUR TEACHER.

Evaluation

3 -- All of the information given in the answer is correct.
