Project: Exploring Cultural points of view
Introduction:
After reading Ann Frank, students will explore on different cultural point of views and research on diversity among students. The purpose of this web quest is to engage students in the examination of diverse cultural point of view using primary resources, written texts, credible Internet sources as well as an interview.
This activity is target for grade: 6-8 students as part of the CT ELA/Core Standard students are require to Write arguments to support claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence. Introduce claim(s), acknowledge alternate or opposing claims, and organize the reasons and evidence logically. Support claim(s) with logical reasoning and relevant evidence, using accurate, credible sources and demonstrating an understanding of the topic or text. Use words, phrases, and clauses to create cohesion and clarify the relationships among claim(s), reasons, and evidence. Establish and maintain a formal style. your teacher will place you in different groups. Each group will be responsible for making an interview that will help us earn about cultural diversity. Each group will complete the following:

- Ask students if they have observed incidents where students from another countries have been mistreated or misunderstood?
- Ask students to recount incidents of mistreatment or misunderstanding dealing with foreign students if they have observed these episodes?
- Complete the interview assignment sheet
- Groups will present their projects after they have completed their interviews
