Introduction
Description: The objective of this project is to introduce students with special needs to diversity. Creating fall leaf wreaths can serve as a metaphor for our diverse population. It is challenging to introduce differences to learners with special needs. However, I am hoping that in the process of working on this cooperative art project, learners will embrace differences and see the relationship between individual and group. Another goal of this project is to provide opportunity to socialize by engaging the students in small group or pair work.
