In this activity, you will learn about the supports, best instructional practices, and resources available to help those students with Down Syndrome succeed in school.
You will explore the website of the Canadian Down Syndrome Society to learn about how to support those students with Down Syndrome and learn about the various resources available to families and educators.

Using the website www.cdss.ca, you will answer a series of questions to learn more about the supports available for those children with Down Syndrome.
Process
Visit the website www.cdss.ca - this is the website for the Canadian Down Syndrome Society, an organization that provides information, resources and supports for individuals who have Down Syndrome and families with children who have Down Syndrome.
On the left hand side of the screen, click on Down Syndrome - this will take you to a general information page.
Your first step is to find the header Canadian Down Syndrome Society Brochures; click Brochures in order to take you to the next page.
Click on the Celebrate Being brochure (it will open up in PDF) and answer the following questions:
