Do you know what a botanist is? It is a person that studies plants. Your first task as a botinist is to watch the video. Then answer some questions, to make sure your ready. Then we will grow our own plants! 

So, lets have fun with a hands-on experiment with growing our own plant!

TASK THREE

You're almost there to being a professional botanist... then something happens, parts of the plants are pulled apart. You need to figure out if all the pieces of the plant is there, so you can label each part. As the only botanist, you need to label all parts so you know how the flower goes back together. Its up to you to save all the flowers! 

Please label all parts on this worksheet and bring your findings to class!

You did it! You saved the flowers! Although, you did come accross a new type of plant life. Is it a flower? Or just a plant with leaves? Does it have fruit? What color is it? Write about your new plant you discovered and draw it too. You will be presenting this in class.
