Introduction
Each region of France has its own history, culture and cuisine. Through research you will learn the interesting information about your assigned French region. You will then create a presentation to share the information with your classmates and teach them about what you have learned. You may choose to present in any format, such as (power point, photo story, creating a video, creating a poster etc).
Task
Your task will be to research your assigned region and create an interesting presentation to inform your classmates. You may choose the format for your presentation but are required to include the following information:
Region:
- Name of your Region
- Location
- Capital city
- Climate
History:
- An interesting historical event that took place in your region
Culture:
- An interesting tradition from your region
Cuisine:
- A specialty food or dish that comes from your region

You will then be assigned one of the three regions by your teacher. Once you have been assigned a region you will need to find the answers to the following questions in an organized and clear presentation.
What is the name of your region?
What departments are located in this region?
Where is the region located within the country of France?
What is the capital city within your region?
What is the climate like in your region?
What is an interesting historical event that took place in this region?
What is an interesting tradition from this region?
What is one specialty food or dish that comes from this region?
You will need to choose a format for your presentation (power point, prezi, video, storybook, poster etc). In your presentation you need to make sure to clearly organize and present all of the above information. You will then show your presentation to the class.

Conclusion
This project will give you the opportunity to teach your classmates what you have learned about your region, through a fun presentation. You will also learn about the other regions of France by listening to your classmates' presentations. Each region of France is beautiful and interesting in its own unique way and this project is a great way to explore and discover each one of them.
