Introduction

A database management system (DBMS) is a computer software application

that interacts with the user, other applications, and the database itself to

capture and analyze data. A general-purpose DBMS is designed to allow the

definition, creation, querying, update, and administration of databases.

Task

                            WHAT STUDENTS WILL DO ?

The students are going to know the important of database.They are going to use

a Microsoft Access.They will able to know data type.They will able to add field

to table.Students will able to save informations on table.

Process

     If you want to create database file; follow the steps below..

  • Open the Microsoft Access, if Access is not already running, take a moment to start it.
  • Click the Blank Desktop Database icon.
  • Type a name to replace the generic DatabaseX.
  • Click the Create button.
  • Create and name your fields in the table by double-clicking where it says Click to Add at the top of the second column in the table.
  • Click the arrow to the right of the words Click to Add and choose the type of field you want to add.
  • Type a new field name (to replace the highlighted placeholder name), and press Enter to save the new field name.
  • To save your new table and the entire database, press Ctrl+S or click the Save button on the Quick Access Toolbar.
