The United States criminal justice system today is one of the best in the world, but there are still things in our system that need to be fixed. I want you to find three things you can fix in each area of the CJ system.
Task
Your job is to find three things you think you can fix in each area of the criminal justice system. You will research probation/parole, the prison system, law enforcement officers, and the court system and then list three things you think should be fixed in each area.
Process
1. You will be divided into groups of five
2. Each person in the group will chose an area of criminal justice they wish to research
3. Each person will explore websites to research their area of CJ.
4. Each team will create a PowerPoint to show their results.

Conclusion
The United States criminal justice system has been under fire from all over the nation, by those who do not agree with the way our police officers handle situations and by those who do not understand our court system. No system is perfect, but there are things we can change about ours.
