Introduction
This is one of my faviortes to us for a text or a visual image.
Task
For this stratigie you will need to enlarge the text or visual image, and attach it to a larger sheet of paper. You want to have a large boarder for student to write around. have 3 students work on the text together annotating the text and making comments on what other in the group have written.
Process
walk around and make your teacher comments and questions on the margins with a different colored pen. this helps students talking with each oher.
Have students stop and do a gallery walk around the classroom to make comments on other groups reading.
Conclusion
Share out what they noticed from the gallery walk. I have found this a great way for students to look at a visual image as well as text
