Cold War Webquest

Introduction

            

In this webquest you will you will learn about the Cold War which includes; the causes of the war, effects of the war, the space race, the arms race, Korean War, Vietnam war and the end of the war. Here are three essential you will need to answer in this Webquest.                    

  1. How did the Cold War end?
  2. Was it right or wrong for the Soviet Union to build a blockade around the Eastern Bloc of Germany?
  3. Do you believe the U.S should've entered the Vietnam War?

  • Review both sides for the argument 
  • (Optional) Take out useful information 
  • Create your own debate 
  • Answer the three questions from introduction

Process

  1. Select and read 3 strong sources that answer the questions best. (30 minutes)
  2. Write a paragraph telling why these 3 sources were the best. Minimum of 4 sentences . (5-10 minutes) 
  3. Write a debate whether you agree with their decision or not also support why or why not. Must include 2 paragraphs w/ a thesis, 2-3 supporting details and a conclusion . (25 minutes)
  4. Write a 2 paragraph summary to answer the essential questions. (30 minutes)
