Cold War webqest

Introduction

This webquest is on the cold war. The cold war was a verbal non-voiolent war between the Soviet Union and the United states. THis war included the arms race, the vietnam war, and chernobyl. 

Essential Questions:

  1. What are the main causes of the cold war?
  2. How did the cold war effect Citizens?
  3. WHat led to the end of the cold war?

Task

Here is your task:

You will be writing a paper to answer the essential questions. This paper mst include facts about both America's point of view and The USSR's point of view. Clearly answer the questions and use information that is cited. At the end create a works cited document that states any websites, books,or any other sources you used. please have these sources cited in MLA format. 

In this process you must :

  • Use at least 5 sources
  • Evaluate both sides of the cold war (USA and USSR)
  • Create  an outline with notes and analysis
  • Create an essay that has a thesis statement, 2-3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
  • Easily answer the essential questions on a seperate paper as well as in the essay.

Process

As you are creating an essay use a table to gather toughts.

1. Find at least 5 sources and put them in a bibliography that is in MLA format. 

2. While gathering resources use a table or a cornelle note paper to gather thoughts.

3. before creating the essay create an outline 

4. create an essay that has a thesis
