Introduction
The Cold War was the longest "war". The reason that the war was called the Cold War was because there was no phsical fight. The war was between communism (Soviet Union) and democratic ( United). The Cold War was a conflict of ideology between contries. A caused for the cold war starting is the soviet union promised the United states that they will allowed voting but they didnt full fill that promise another reson was to spread democracy of communism. The arms race was when both of the super powers were competing with each other for the most weaponds and the most powerful milatary. The cold war ened because the economy in the Soviet union was failing and the government was failing. The soviet was a huge contrubtor of communisum so when it failed commnism failed as well. The space race was when the Soviet Union and the United States were competing on who gets to space first. The Soviet Union was first on getting into space. The U.S was worried that the Soviet Union will send missles from space and destroy the U.S. Even though the Soveit Union was first to get to space the U.S was the first to send someone on the moon.
