Introduction
Welcome to an overview of the Cold War! In this WebQuest, we will cover the Causes and Effects of the war, the Space Race, the Arms Race, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the End of the War. Please take the time to answer the following questions as a way to better your understanding of the Cold War
1. How strong was the relationship between the American government and its citizens after the Vietnam War?
2. Why was the Space Race influential to the Cold War?
3. How did the effects of the Cold War change American Domestic policies today?


Task
Your task is to create a storyboard of the main events that occurred in the topics listed previously (Cause of War, Effect of War, Space Race, Arms Race, Korean War, Vietnam War, End of War). There must be at least two events for each category.
In order to complete the WebQuest, you must do and complete the following:
1. Research the topics using at least 8 sources.
2. List at least 2 main turning points from each topic.
3. Create an organizer of your choosing that shows your choices and a brief explanation of each.
4. Create a storyboard. There should be at least 14 boxes.
5. On a separate sheet of paper, answer the 3 questions that were given in the introduction using what you learned to make the storyboard.
Process
1. Read at least 8 sources with similar evidence to answer the essential questions. There will be some provided under the Credits tab. (60 minutes).
2. Create an outline that shows what information/events you are using for your storyboard. Be sure to include your explanations as to why you chose those events (30 minutes).
3. Create a storyboard (minimum 14 boxes) that show the events your chose along with their explanations (30 minutes).
4. Using prior knowledge and the information you gained researching, answer the essential questions on a separate paper. Make sure to answer the question thoroughly (20 minutes).
5. Take the survey listed under the Conclusion tab. Leave comments and feedback. (15 minutes)
