     The Cold War was a long period of tension between the democratic Western World and the communist Eastern Europe. The west was led by the United States and Eastern Europe was led by the Soviet Union, and they became known as superpowers. Although the two superpowers never officially declared war on each other, they fought indirectly in proxy wars, the arms race, and the space race.

Task

Create a board game relating to the Cold War and the relationships and ideologies between the Soviet Union and Americas. 

1. Research five articles relating to the war, with views from both the Soviet Union side and the American side. 

2. Take notes for each article and create a bibliography for each of the sites used. 

3. Evaluate both sides of the arguement. 

4. Create a school appropriate board game that addresses the Cold War and the Soviet Union and United States. 

5. Be sure to answer each of the essential questions within the board game. 

Process

1. Read five articles with information of the Cold War that addresses The Cold War and Soviet Union and American points of view on the conflict That also answers the essential questions. (1 hour)

2. Write a maximum of one page of notes for each article and address the topics you would like to include in your board game. (30 minutes) 

3. Create a Rough draft for your board game that includes all the essential questions and their answers. (1 hour)

4. Create the final draft with all the needed information, color, and includes the conflicts in the Cold War. (1 day)
