Introduction
Throughout this WebQuest you are invited to explore the web to answer the questions to better understand oceans, the atmosphere, and polar ice caps:
- How long will summer Arctic sea ice survive?
- Are hurricanes getting more intense?
- How much will sea level rise as ice sheets melt?
- How do humans affect climate change?
- How is global climate monitored?

Task
The following tasks will require a computer with internet access as well as a paper and pencil.
1. First, you will learn about climate change and global warming through web explorations.
2. Then, you will explore websites with data to see how climate change and global warming are monitored.
3. Next, you will learn how humans affect global warming. Furthermore, what you can do to stop it.
4. Lastly, you will apply your knowledge by completeing the evaluation.
