Introduction

It is back to school time. The first day of school is tomorrow, but the classroom is still empty. Your teacher has decided to make this situation into an exciting event. Click on the task to see what she has planned.

Task

Your teacher wants you to create a classroom exhibit. Your exhibit will include a poster showing classroom objects needed to fill the class.

As junior organizer, it will be your job to research classroom objects and create the exhibit. Remember, your main goal is to find important, useful things that are needed for the class.

Step 1 - Learn some classroom vocabulary

Your teacher wants to make sure you know the meanings of some words related to classroom objects. Click on https://translate.google.com/ to translate the words into your language.

Now go to Puzzlemaker and make a criss-cross puzzle using your new vocabulary words.  Print out your puzzle and trade your puzzle with a classmate to see how well you know these words.

Step 2 - Create a poster about the classroom objects.

Now it is time to learn about how the classroom is organized. First, print out the graphic organizer. As you learn about all the objects that should be in class, use the organizer to write down ideas for your poster.

Create a poster that shows objects of the entire class. Label the class objects in English.

Step 3 - Choose a classroom object and describe it in terms of color and shape.

Vocabulary Puzzle

My puzzle has some of the vocabulary words. I did not share my puzzle with a classmate and complete a classmate's puzzle.
