Knowledge is power and learning about your own heritage is important. Make sure you pay close attention to the details because they will come up as questions later on! Causes of the Civil War
Many individuals argue that slavery was the cause of the Civil War. However, slavery was just one of the many causes of the Civil War. The following link will take you to a web page that goes more in debth over the complaints, constitutational questions, tarrifs and nulification crisis, the ecnomy and also slavery itself. These are some of the major causes of the Civil War. Make sure to READ and make notes.

The Nat Turner Rebellion
The Nat Turner Rebellion, spread the fear of slave revolts throughout the South. Many historians claim that this could also be count as one of the causes of the Civil War.
