Introduction
Hello students, today you will be doing a Webquest on Christmas and how it is celerbrated differently throughout the United States and other countries. You will be working in groups of four and using your classmates, technology, and any other resources that may be avalible to you. 
Task
Your task is to research how Chritsmas is celebrates throughout the Unitied States and other countries. You may use any resources that are avalible to you such as:
- Your Classmates
- Computers/Ipads
- Books
- Magazines
Be sure to research Christmas not just here in the Unitied States, but other countries as well. I want you to get a better understanding of how not everyon comes from the same ethnic background as yourself. There are people in the community that may celebrate Christmas in a different way than you. Thats where your classmates will come in handly. Be sure to ask your classmates how their family celebrates Christmas.

Tell me what your favorite Christmas tradition is. This can be something you and your family do together, or something another classmate and their family does together, or a tradition that another country does.
Process
- First, you will be broken up into four groups of four.
- Then one person from each group will log on to the computers
- Each student will have a paper that has questions on it about Christmas. Each student is to fill these papers out and turn them in at the end of the class period.
- Be sure to ask your classmates how their family celebrates Christmas, You may be surprised to see that not everyone celebrates Christmas the same way as you and your family.

You will be scored on completion for this assignment.
All questions should be answered and if you use a classmate to answer a question be sure to site that classmate.
This is a fun activity that involves group work, if you cannot work together with yuor classmates then you will be asked to site by my desk and finish the assignment by yourself.
Conclusion
After completeing this assignment you will have a greater knowledge for Christmas traditions around the world. The goal of this assignment is to show you that not everyone celebrates Christmas in the same ways as you. I want you to better understand other cultures and traditions.
