Celebrate Around the World

How do different religions celebrate? At home, you and your family might celebrate Christmas togther, but around the world, in different religions, people celebrate differently. We are going to travel around the world through our computers to discover more information on religious celebrations that may not be familair to us - What do they do? Why do they do it? Do they have special traditions, food, or clothing for their celebration? Let's go and find out! 

Now is the time to begin your research. You will be put into a group of four people, and as a group, your task will be to discover more about a particular celebration, that will be chosen for you. Here is what you might get:

Group task: Use the links in this WebQuest to learn and record details about your celebration, and present this on a poster (you can follow the template provided, or you can create your own!) to show the class. If you have time, you may also include other details that you found interesting - maybe a popular recipe during the celebration, or particular clothing that is often worn?
