Introduction
Congratulations! Your class has won an all expenses paid trip to the Caribbean because of your hard work and excellent attendance. You will go to either Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, or St Vincent. All of these countries seem interesting; it is so hard to decide which one to go to. You must use the internet to research information about each of these countries and make a decision: Where will we go? Take this seriously; the whole class is counting on you!
Your task is to reach an agreement as a group about which country to visit so we can leave as soon as possible. Once you reach an agreement, your group will make a poster containing all of the reasons you chose that country. The poster will persuade your classmates (and your teacher) that your country is the best choice.
Task
In your group, decide who will play each role. The three roles are 2 geographers, 1 photographer, and 2 cultural experts. The tasks for each role are outlined below.
Geographers:
You will research the land and the climate of each of the three countries. When you visit the website for each country, take note of the climate, the size, the location, and any notable land masses.
Photographer: You will view photographs of each country. Take a careful look at them, and make a colorful sketch of the photograph that appeals to you the most from each country.
Cultural Experts: You will learn about the different holidays and celebrations from each country. After you read each website, write brief descriptions of the two most interesting holidays from each country.

After you have completed your research, decide which country you would like to visit the most based upon your findings.
Come together with your group. Share your findings and your preference with your teammates. If you do not all agree at first, try to convince your teammates that your decision is the best. After twenty minutes your group must reach a conclusion.
Keep in mind the reasons that you chose your country. As a group, illustrate a poster which lists all the reasons that your country is the best for our class to visit.

- A drawing of your favourite photo from the country
- Reproduction of the flag
- A fact-file with population, language, climate, size
- 2 most interesting tourist attractions explained and described
- Extra information about clothing, food, traditions etc
