A literature webquest designed for 2nd graders.
Teacher Introduction
This lesson was designed for 2nd graders who are looking for a sequence ratifacation. In the 2nd grade California State standards students learn about insects. An extension of this is learning about "Comparing life cycles of different animals such as, but not limited to, mealworms, ladybugs, crickets, guppies or frogs: comparisons. The Story Jumper books are a great way to introduce students to new stories in a fictional and nonfictional settings. This webquest incorporates creativity and literature in a fun way for students.
