Butterflies!

Introduction

We have been reading "I'm a Caterpillar" all week and now we are going to learn all about butterflies! We will learn how butterflies grow and develop and when you are finished you will be a butterfly expert!

Task

You and your partner are responsible for gathering information (researching), writing, and illustrating a non-fiction book about the lifecycle of a butterfly to share with your classmates. Your book will be filled with many interesting facts about the life cycle of a butterfly.

While completing your research you will need to learn the following about butterflies:

1. What are the four stages in the life cycle of a butterfly?

2. How long does each stage last?

3. What does a butterfly look like during each stage?

4. You must also include two interesting facts you learned.

There will be two people in each group.

You and your partner must work together to complete each task.

After you have answered each question, you will create a book about the life cycle of a butterfly.

The answers to each question will need to be in your book.

Let's get started! :)
