The Skeletal System
Today you will begin an internet scavenger hunt to learn more about the human skeletal system, muscular system and skin. You will visit websites and read books to complete your handout. Once your handouts are complete you will create a brochure about bones, muscles, and skin.

- Define (words and or pictures) the following types of joints: hinge joint, ball-and-socket joint, and gliding joint.
- Label a skeleton with correct bones ((skull, femur/upper leg bone, rib cage, patella/knee cap, spine, collar bone/clavicle, pelvis, humerus/upper arm bone, hand bones, foot bones, sternum
- What can I do to have and keep healthy bones?
- Define (with words and or pictures) the 3 types of joints: hinge joint, ball-and-socket joint, and gliding joint.
- Compare a human skeleton with an animal skeleton. Complete a Venn diagram.
Task

- Your final project will be to create a brochure!
